According to MailOnline, the couple spent pretty much every day with each other, before James proposed while they were on a trip to Istanbul – just three months after they met. He asked her in the early hours of the morning, and she broke down in tears before saying yes.
Wood told MailOnline: "Our friends are not surprised and our parents are over the moon but at first they found it a bit weird but they knew straight away things were different between us."
Wood defended the quick speed of the romance to the Tab. She said: “How can you judge something from the outside? It’s not something we’re ashamed of. The ring and the engagement are symbolic of our commitment to each other.”
