Tell Us The Signs That Immediately Identify Someone As A Millennial

The millennial pause is a start.

If you spend any time on the Internet (or on our beloved BuzzFeed.com), you know that people looove to discuss generational differences. And right now, as Gen Z grows out of diapers and begins their trek into young adulthood, there's been a million and one ways they've begun ragging on millennials.

Somewhat most notoriously, millennials get ragged on for their skinny jeans, side parts, to the use of GIFs. And most recently, apparently now millennials can be identified if they front tuck their shirts (yes, the Tan France classic).

So, I wanna hear from you — what instantly identifies millennials? Maybe it's a trend millennials can't give up, a philosophy they stand by, or certain characteristics that can easily be spotted.

Perhaps you're a Gen Z'er yourself and have a few indicators that signal a millennial — for example, the millennial pause and voice is a BIG one for you on social media. In person, the outfits are kinda the signal. To you, they dress a little more "formally" than you're used to (like no sneakers to the club).

Maybe you're actually a millennial and you can spot other millennials with absolutely no shame. But for you, it's mostly at work — you find a sense of calmness working with millennials that was seriously missing after years of frustration working under boomers and Gen X.

Comment that reads: "Us millennials have so much job and boss ptsd from boomers and Gen X that now that we’re the bosses we’re trying to heal the workplace lol"

To you, it's simple to identify millennials: "Do they remember 9/11?" If yes, they're a millennial. If no, they're Gen Z.
