3.There's a NO CLOCKS policy in the house. Complete separation from the outside entails that the contestants are not aware of the time. Those pictured are just for decoration.
4.Therefore, the contestants are usually irregular in their activities. For instance, usually, they end up having their lunch at 4.30 p.m.
5.There are mirrors all over the house, but they are simply not for the convenience of contestants to check themselves out — there are cameras and cameramen on the other side, filming, i.e., inside the walls.

6.The smoking area is not featured a lot on the show, although there are cameras. This is to ensure that contestants enjoy their moment of zen in peace. But if they make any TRP-bait comments, that'll be shown.
7.One of the biggest downsides of being in a secluded, nature-y area is a hell lotta insects. And snakes, and scorpions too.
8.Absolutely no books are allowed inside the house, including holy scriptures like the Gita or the Bible — Bigg Boss shall provide them.
9.The typical signing amount for the contestants is ₹8 lakhs, minimum. Even if he/she gets evicted in the first week.
10.And, there is a weekly pay for every week the contestant survives following the first two.
11.There shall absolutely be no contact with the media after selection. Even after eviction, it shall be done with the channel's permission.
12.Quitting the show midway shall incur a fine — which has been said to be as high as ₹2 crore.
13.Liquor is not exactly banned in the house. Contestants fond of alcohol are usually given the same in fruit juice packets.
14.Since it is physically impossible to clean such a big house all by themselves, the contestants are accorded a cleaning staff that comes in once per week.
15.And since contestants are not allowed to interact with outsiders, they are made to shift out of the house, and the gates are shut while the cleaning staff does their job.
16.Couples do get intimate inside the house, but it is often edited as Bigg Boss is supposed to be a family show.
17.Vindu Dara Singh at 41 years, is the oldest and Gautam Gulati at 27 years, is the youngest winner of Bigg Boss till date.
18.The Great Khali, who made it to the finale of Bigg Boss 4, was being paid a whopping ₹50 lakhs per week.
19.Baywatch star Pamela Anderson who was part of Bigg Boss Season 4 for just three days reportedly charged ₹2.5 crore per day.
20.That's still nothing compared to Salman Khan's fees who is reportedly being paid ₹11 crore to host per episode of Bigg Boss 11.
21.Contestants have also reported paranormal activity taking place in the house, with the crew members also admitting to the presence of a weird-looking woman standing in the corner of a room.
