But when I was buying products to do a DIY gardening post, Amazon had the quickest delivery option and I was in a rush.

So I bought this multi-pack of succulents (8 plants for £9.50) to make a hanging planter. You can see the end result in this post, but TL:DR, I was pleasantly surprised!

And a six months on, they are thriving!

I've had so many pups (this is what succulent babies are called) that I've gifted a baby one to most people who've come by my house, as well as my neighbours. I've planted some pups on in a little dish with some gravel at the bottom too. They're incredibly difficult to kill, and only need watering once a week.

And if you don't believe me, the reviews also speak for themselves.

They're rated 4.8/5 on Amazon, and have 115 reviews.

"Very nice set of plants, all were healthy and the set I received was almost exactly as pictured in the listing. I have attached a photo of them in a planter the day I received them (obviously you don't get that pot)

Each plant came with a plug of soil and I estimate each to be about the diameter of a £2 coin. Definitely recommended if you like succulents." – Amazon Customer

"Nice healthy plants promptly delivered ( ordered in the morning and arrived the following day!). The plants come in a numbered tray and an accompanying email gives the names. I labelled them straight away and took a picture in case they got mixed up. I then potted them up in an old broken terra cotta flowerpot that I was otherwise going to discard. Very happy with the plants, the service and the outcome!" – R. Harrison
