I was an evangelical Christian on my way to being a minister when I became an atheist. Sometimes I still sing religious hymns/songs to myself just like any other song just because it's stuck in my head. Nothing to feel awkward about.

That depends. Some theists are victims that mean well. Probably the majority. The rest though are predators looking to further victimize those believers.
