The Labour Party conference in Brighton has, until today, been notable for the lack of physical fights. But then this morning blogger and publisher Iain Dale livened everything up by having a scrap with a protestor.
The fight began when the protestor, Stuart Holmes, tried to protest behind a TV interview former Labour spinner Damian McBride was giving to Daybreak.
Let's look at that again in slow motion.
Here's a view from another angle.
Of note: the dog appears to be on Mr. Dale's side, spending most of its time attacking its owner.
Possibly the dog is just a stickler for proper punctuation, and was angry about the rogue apostrophe on the sign it was made to wear.
The police are reportedly "looking into" the fight. They have favourited a tweet as part of their enquiries.
