I’m a republican and I’m all for banning assault weapons and high capacity mags. While I’m still in favor of conceal and carry for hand guns, its pretty obvious that people don’t need assault rifles. As for guys who love hunting, sucks to lose some of your favorite guns but its not like they are banning hunting period.

There are just too many variables when talking about mental health that you just can’t compare it to physical health. Heck we don’t even know why certain mental disorders even exist!  scientists and doctors still know very little about neurological disorders like autism for example. Unlike childhood diabetes or pediatric leukemia, there is no blood test, no scan, no image that can detect autism. Diagnosis relies totally on behavioral observation and screening. And that’s not easy. I work with mentally challenged individuals, I work with an individual who is supported by a very involved and caring family, he is given top notch psychological help from some of the best hospitals and best doctors in the state… And yet he still has these sudden and unexplainable urges to hurt someone or set something on fire. He requires almost constant supervision. He one time got so upset over something so small that he pushed his mother down the stairs.  I’m not against anyone with disabilities, all I’m saying is that there is no solution to severe mental health issues! ITS A FUCKING FACT! Not some political statement, or me trying to sound like all people with autism or schizophrenia should be locked away. Also, I’m not anti psychiatrists. But I think taking your kids at at a very young age to a shrink because you think there is something “wrong”, can also hurt the child. No child wants to hear that there is something wrong with them early in life and then grow up always thinking that there is something “Wrong” or “Different” about them.

The sad truth is that there is NO solution to severe mental problems. We all try to put the blame on our health system, but do people ever wonder for one second that maybe medicating our 5 year olds and having them diagnosed by countless psychiatrist just so they can diagnose them with some disorder is a part of the problem? Nobody failed Adam Lanza, he was born with a defect. We have to understand that no amount of help was going to stop this massacre.

Wtf. This had been one of the best shows on TV period. Some silly moments but overall a hell of a season and nowhere near a bad as you make it sound. Heck its even nominated for a ton more emmys!

The problem is not that he was anti war or anti torture. The problem here is that his lyrics are shockingly disturbing. Kill them Yankees slowly? People have a problem with us about torture, yet the same very people forget about about Daniel pearl, the Americans who were burned alive and hung on bridges and the countless others who were beheaded like pigs… Yeah kill all them Yankees in deed…

Hamas woke up a sleeping dragon. While there is no doubt that Israel is causing great devastation in that area, its Hamas fault for never wanting legit peace.

I just wish musicians would stop trying to make a damn statement with every performance. People don’t need Kattie Perryto tell you who to vote for or “xtina” to song to you about how different we are…. Makes me want to vomit.

People don’t vote in predominantly blue or red states, Because they feel like since the state is going for or against their candidate, what’s the point of voting. People need to remember that local elections are VERY important though.

He’s actually right about the idea that they share more in common with conservatives than they so with liberals. Hispanics and blacks share very similar morals. Democrats win the perception battle.
