This is Molly. She'll be representing the U.K. in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
Molly Smitten-Downes, a 27-year-old from Leicestershire, was selected by the BBC to represent the UK in this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Denmark.
Eurovision entrants are selected by participating broadcasters. Molly was chosen by Guy Freeman, BBC Eurovision's Executive Producer, and his team in March. "We took the view that we needed a bespoke, contemporary song, written specifically to suit the conditions of the competition – rather than trying to get lucky with a pre-existing track from an artist," he explained in a BBC blog.
Molly was discovered through BBC Introducing, which Guy describes as "the gateway for undiscovered and unsigned music makers to upload their best tracks and get them heard and featured by the BBC."
He explains, "We carefully approached a few artists who stood out to us and once they understood what we were trying to achieve, they embraced the idea of writing a song for the competition from scratch."
"It was a bit of a surprise when the BBC got in touch and asked me to have a go," Molly told BuzzFeed. "But I'm so glad they did. I'm absolutely loving it."
Molly thinks Armenia will be her biggest competition, but picks Spain out as her favourite act. "Ruth Lorenzo is incredible," she says. "She's all about the performance."
Molly is at 14 - 1 to win Eurovision, according to Paddy Power.
Molly will be performing in Copenhagen on 10th May. But does she know where Denmark is?

6/9. And obviously Ireland.
6/10. But failed to guess Hungary correctly.
She finished with a score of 6/10, which isn't too bad. But how would she do at placing countries on a map?
