At 3pm today, Holy Trinity Church in Dalston was full of clowns.
They were there, for the 68th year, to pay tribute to entertainer Joseph Grimaldi.
Joseph, who died in 1837, invented the modern clown.
And so, once a year, clowns from across the country attend a service in his honour, wearing full costume.
And, most importantly, they laugh.
And once the service is over, everyone lights a candle in memory of the clowns who have passed away in the last 12 months.
And then there's a children's show.
