A couple in the U.K. could reportedly make thousands of dollars by selling a Beanie Baby they bought at a flea market for about $15.

Leah Rogers and Ryan Flanaghan were selling their own toys at the market in Bude, Cornwall, when they spotted the rare Princess Diana Beanie Baby being sold by another vendor, the Daily Mail reported.
The model is one of the rarest Beanie Babies produced. It was created in 1997 with the proceeds going to the Princess Diana of Wales Memorial Foundation.
Flanaghan said he recognized the toy's worth because he used to collect Beanie Babies.

When the couple got home, they realized the bear was even more valuable than they thought.
They verified that the bear was a first-edition bear, which can be sold for thousands of dollars on eBay.
One similar bear is currently listed for $375,000. However, the couple listed theirs at a starting price of approximately $30,000, according to the Daily Mail.
The couple said they hope to earn a significant amount of money from the sale to put toward their first home.
"We couldn't believe it. We picked it up for £10 and it could be worth tens of thousands," Rogers said.
The website TyCollector.com has published an article disputing that the Princess beanie is actually worth thousands of dollars.
The website, which is run "by collectors for collectors," said that it is important to note the prices the Princess is listed for on eBay and other sites don't necessarily indicate their actual value.
Instead, the Princess may only be worth as little as $47, it says.
"We are truly sad so many peoples' hopes were mistakenly raised by reading a fraudulent article that suggested they might own a rare and valuable Princess Beanie Baby," the website said.
