Does Alec Baldwin Have Anger Management Issues?

The 30 Rock star has a history of meltdowns, outbursts and fights dating back to 1995.

On Wednesday, Daily News reported that Alec Baldwin ran over a reporter's foot with his bicycle and then used his bike to knock her aside as she asked him about his incident from earlier this week.

The incident mentioned above took place on Tuesday: Baldwin attacked Mark Santos, a Daily News photographer, after Santos snapped a photo of him and his fiancee, HIlaria Thomas, getting their marriage license. According to Santos:

He comes after me, starts shoving and punching me — one time, right in the chin and then he started shoving me, and pushing me. He lunged at me like raging bull.

Following the incident, Baldwin tweeted this torture-laden comment:

In December of 2011, Baldwin was escorted off an American Airlines flight after he refused to quit playing Words with Friends. According to reports, he quickly became belligerent with the flight attendant who had has asked him to turn off his phone. A crew member on board said "he was violent, abusive and aggressive. He got into the bathroom and started beating on the wall and he pounded his fists on the galley counter."

In a article for Huffington Post, Baldwin attempts to apologize for the incident:

Again, my apology to my fellow travelers.

Though, most of the article is a verbal assault of the airline system and the flight attendant who was at the center of the issue:

The lesson I’ve learned is to keep my phone off when the 1950’s gym teacher is on duty. That was my fault there, even though this trip was quite a bit different from so many others. But it is sad, I think, that you’ve got to fly overseas today in order to bring back what has been thrown overboard by US carriers in terms of common sense, style, and service.

After being released from a hospital in February of 2010, Baldwin reportedly "grabbed New York Post photographer Tim Wiencis by the collar. Cops immediately pulled the actor off Wiencis and hustled him back inside."

In April of 2007, an anger-filled voicemail from Baldwin to his daughter leaked on the Internet. While he later apologized, it was a pretty hurtful rant for anyone to get from their own father:

Once again, I have made an ass of myself trying to get to a phone. You have made an ass out me of for the last time. Three letters: ABA. A, Always, B, Be, A, Answering. Always be answering. Always be answering. AIDA. Attention. Interest. Decision. Action. Attention. Do I have your attention? Interest. Are you interested? I know you are 'cause it's pick up the phone or get your ass straightened out. You answer or you get hit with a brick. Decision. Have you made your decision to pick up the phone? And action. AIDA. Pick up the goddamn phone. You got a call coming in, you think I made it because I've got nothing better to do? I could be shouting shit at random people on the street, but I'm calling you. I don't care that you're twelve or eleven or whatever, are you pig enough to pick it up? I'm a good father, and you're a pig. I don't give a shit. Good father. You think this is abuse? You think this is abuse, you thoughtless pain in the ass? AIDA. Get mad you daughter-of-a-bitch. Get mad. You know what it takes to answer my call? It takes brass balls to answer my call. Go and do likewise. The phone is ringing, you pick it up, it's yours, you don't, I got no sympathy for you. I'd wish you good luck, but you wouldn't know what to do with it if you got it. You better be ready Friday the 20th to meet with me. Pig. Oh, also, tell your mother I said "Go fuck yourself." This is Dad, ring me back when you get a chance.

Shortly after the leak, Kim Basinger called Baldwin "unstable and irrational." Earlier, in a bitter 2005 custody battle, Kim Basinger publicly blasted Baldwin for his anger problems:

Everyone knows about Alec Baldwin's behavioral problems—his anger, his rages—they are, unfortunately, legendary.

Following the announcement of the couple's divorce in 2001, a veteran publicist said "Alec is a pretty loose cannon."

His fight with the Daily News wasn't his first scuffle with a photographer. In 1995, Baldwin punched celebrity photographer Alan Zanger in the nose. Zanger described Baldwin's rage towards the photographer's appearance outside his home:

He was livid. When he came toward me after I got out, he was just livid. I didn't see it coming.

The incident landed Baldwin in court. According to People, "a jury later awarded $4,500 in damages to the paparazzo."

Maybe he should stick to keeping a blanket over his head.
