It is rather unlogical to use Tilikum as an example if you are going to say that orcas cannot live more than 25 years when hold in captivity. Tilikum is 33. Plus, numerous sources state that the average lifespan of a male orca is more likely to be around 30 years with a maximum of 50 to 60 years.
Don’t get me wrong, I do not support holding animals of any kind in spaces not appropriate for their species. But this article is rather one-sided, though, one might even call it populist or propaganda.
