Americans can be very easily offended. Coming from a Latino background, words like that are thrown around all the time and not meant to be taken offensively. Sort of how we, in America, rag on each other. “Know how I know you’re gay…”, “No homo”, etc. It’s not meant to offend, just to play. That said, no one knows the intention that guy had, and I’d it WAS to offend…well, fuck that guy. But, just saying, lighten up a little and realize nnot everyone grew up in this culture.
