The Playboy Archive
Browse through 53 archival issues of Playboy, for the articles of course, and zoom at will. Downside is installing Microsoft's Silverlight, which is like Flash, only not actually Flash. Upside is issues ranging from 1954 to 2006 — you can read Nabokov and Sartre, and then you can watch how everything went downhill fast in the '80s.

Well, I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess.
Bought a fair amount, though lost a bunch too.
But, then I have a friend who still has boxes and boxes and boxes…from the mid sixties till he got tired of them (he's got a gal who does better'n them paper pages, eh?) so, he's OK with me borrowing them, sometimes….

In this particular case my laziness/aversion to installing Silverlight has just barely beat out my desire to look at tasteful, culturally relevant pornography. It was a very close battle though.
