Sydney Pollack Dies

Movie Buzz The director — best known for Tootsie and Out of Africa — died on Monday in Los Angeles. Pollack, 73, died of cancer at his home in Pacific Palisades. He made his biggest mark as a director, but was always great in the small actor roles he took on, from Eyes Wide Shut to Michael Clayton. Here’s his awesome scene with Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie.
