Hey D Parker - I totally agree. D.A.R.E. can cut their operating costs to only getting the rights and burning DVDs and they’re set. Plus, it would work!!
TV Buzz The A&E reality show about interventions is fascinating, disgusting. Now well into it’s fifth season, the grim pile-up that is Intervention finally gives you a reason to watch A&E when you get home after a late night.

I think Christy is the case that will always stay with people. That episode is the only D.A.R.E. programming you need in schools.
Omg. You posted the image of the woman (girl, really, based on her emotional and mental capacity) who wouldn’t leave my thoughts for a long, long time. I think her name was Cristy and her case resonated not just with me but lots of people online as she seemed so far gone. She was experiencing drug-induced psychosis which was horrific to see and had subzero interest in getting better. She didn’t eat except for bites of ramen her sister would bring by to her dilapidated apt, before hurling the food onto the walls and screaming. All she ingested was vodka and crack :-( And she was only in her early twenties.
