I would take the Killing over any season of CSI or Law & Order or any other cop procedural that just plows through story and while barely developing their characters. This was good television. Next season will wrap up this story line in 1 episode before the new murder is introduced. Belko kills the councilman, therefore he never goes on trial, and the fake evidence is never an issue but it forces Linden to stick around Seattle to keep an eye on Holder.  There is so much fucking crap on television let's not shit on one of the few good ones just because it drew a strong reaction out of some people, which is exactly what a good television show is supposed to do.

I loved the series. But I was hoping that the murder would be resolved in the 13 episodes. Not end on a JFK like ending and the “cool” cop faking evidence.  Still am going to be glued to season 2 though.

Here's the problem. They sold this show as a 13-part miniseries. As a viewer/sucker, I assumed that they'd wrap it up in… 13 episodes. When I heard that it had been renewed, I though “Hey, no problem. There will be a fresh murder to investigate next season. One season = one case”. F__k “The Killing”.

Haters will hate. I figured it was too good to end at season one. Still quite a letdown though.

Hmmm… methinks people have become conditioned by the various Law & Orders and CSIs to think that murders should be wrapped up in 43 minutes.

meh. never heard of it, don't care but i wish that website was more agressive

they get another season to tell a story that only had two episodes worth of story.

Sorry fans, but I've never heard of this show.
