disgusting. one thing to support the second amendment (within reason), another to be a display of bigotry, hate, intolerance, and indoctrination.

just because there’s something worse out there, doesn’t mean sweatshops are okay. people who are against unsafe labor conditions aren’t against them so that those working in them will get fired and die of starvation. the hope si that by striving for safer working environments, worldwide change can be achieved and the dangers that people face every day, all around the world, can be prevented.

yeah, i’m jewish and don’t keep kosher, and you saying you “can’t” eat those things, is not true. you choose not to. because of your beliefs. so no, i’m not going to feel bad you don’t eat bacon. the beauty of judaism (especially when you don’t observe everything, which you yourself admit to), is that you can have your bacon, and eat it too.

at least they’re not A) abandoning their babies, or B) adding their names to the years-long wait list for white babies in this country. Children need homes. Get off your high horse, and try and see past race. These people are adopting children of all creeds and colors, giving them a home. You should be proud of these people, not ridiculing them.

so, how is this better than investing money in education in areas where perhaps drinking 500 oz of soda is considered okay? how is this better than replacing unhealthy foods in school vending machines with better choices? if the city of new york wants people to make healthier choices, be consistent about it, and try using methods that would actually work.
