I got Willow, and I knew I’d get Willow. Super correct!

“Guess what man, I got second row seats at the Raptors game!!!”
… “DAMN IT.”
Being all about brunch.
I like how based on the comments in here Americans think this one columnist speaks for all Canadians. Smart.
Hm, these faux space aliens are using computers from 1995 are they?
You broke it, you buy it.
I don’t know, I think it depends on the state of your wisdom teeth too. If they’ve fully come up and it’s just a quick yank, obviously it’s not going to be as big a deal as if all four are impacted. Mine were all impacted and removed by an oral surgeon while I was under general anesthetic. I seriously doubt I’d be able to chew with how little I could move my jaw, even if it was only one side. Plus who wants to go through that twice!?
Some of this stuff won’t work unless you’re further into the healing process. Even eggs and mango you have to chew (and the chewing motion is agony regardless of how soft the food is!) Basically eat tons of smoothies and soup.
I don’t think you know what a cougar is…
Also, anything less than 10 years really isn’t THAT big of a deal in terms of age difference…
Who doesn’t like the Simpsons? I’m 27 and literally everyone I know around my age has not only seen every episode from the first 10 seasons multiple times, but quote the Simpsons on a regular basis. It’s one of the few shows in which a quote from it will be recognized by literally everyone. I feel bad for you… Missing out on so much…
When you pull your boot off your sock comes with it.
Hey, I’m from Winnipeg! It’s been like this for several weeks though. It’s actually warmed up a bit today. :P The windchill was -53C a few days ago.
Me too! I feel much less like a freak! There are other people like me!!! *hugs everyone in the comments*
Hm, these temps are normal where I live. Bundle up in layers peeps! It’s not that bad! Our schools would never be open if we closed them every time it got that cold. They just kept us inside for recess.
My cousin works for Google, he gave me a tour when I went to visit him in SF (he commutes to Mountain View). Sweetest place to work EVAR!
I’ve only ever had one work BFF. But we don’t work together anymore. -cries forever-
I spent my life being told by my dad I was “too picky”, now whenever I cook anything he turns his nose up at it half the time (usually because it’s not the bland meat and potatoes he’s used to). WHO’S REALLY THE PICKY ONE NOW DAD?!
We had a windchill of -30C (-22F) yesterday and there was apparently someone streaking around the neighbourhood in a santa hat. Thing is, the dude was probably thinking “meh, it’s warmer than the temps we’ve had in the past few weeks! today’s the day!” It’s been a -40C/-40F windchill for the most part. I know it’s all relative, but I wish I had LA “cold” instead of Winnipeg “cold”!! SO LUCKY!!!!
I want to know what she looks like now…
He also co-hosted the Roar of the Rings Curling Tournament in Winnipeg, Canada yesterday. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/curling/roar-rings/burgundy-in-the-house-234034261.html
He could have gotten the point across to Diane without the “eat my dick” comment. Highly unnecessary. A nicely worded note with the wine probably would have had a better effect as well, and just leave it at that. He was probably just trying to get twitter followers.
A comparison map would be helpful (ie, how many planes in the air on a “regular day”).
Some of these are just painful to watch. That Billy Bob interview was terrible! How rude and unprofessional.
Also, right before it happens, you see a car going towards it do a u-turn. They’re like “OK, I SHOULDN’T BE GOING THAT WAY!!!!!” I don’t think the voice over is live. Sounds like they’re reviewing the footage afterwards.
Heh, the exact opposite happened to me in Belgium. I went to a museum and the lady at the counter asked if I was a student, I said no, so she says “well, you look like one!” and gave me the student price! :)
23 did suck! Weiiiiiird. I’m 27, 11 more months till the best year of my 20’s apparently! woooooo….
It’s interesting, because the celebration of the movie almost mirrors how the Capitol celebrates the Hunger Games. But, I don’t know, at the same time it’s a fictional story blown up to be a blockbuster hit. You could say that about a lot of blockbuster hits, that they are social commentary on *something* - people will still dress up in costume and count down the days. Films, for the most part, are a source of entertainment. I do see your point, but maybe some movies can do both - be enjoyable to watch, and give us something to think about?
Toronto is nothing, cold-wise. Try Winnipeg! And funny you should say that about teens, it’s true. They don’t wear a coat until it gets past -20C here. Apparently being warm is uncool?
Pretty strong opinion for someone who hasn’t seen any of the movies (except one, apparently).
Haha, I have a (male) friend named Ariel, and he changed his facebook cover photo to Bearded Mermaid Ariel.
I will now attempt to post a link that probably won’t show up (if it doesn’t, youtube it yerself!) Ohhh, Canadian teevee!
Breaker High anyone? He was soooo nerdy in that, looked just like this (he was probably 16-17 at the time).
We have three extra prairie provinces in #8!
I’m the only person I know without a smartphone. The main reason is: $15/month vs. $60/month. All I do is text, and very rarely call people. I can wait til I get home to use the internet. Having the ‘net with me every minute of the day is not worth $60.
The coffee beans look like dead cockroaches….
Actually #25 happens to me everyday with our spice cupboard. WHAT WAS IT ADVERTISING?
I’m confused by the guesses. Why “young Han Solo”, etc? Episode 7 is not a prequel…?
