    Lee Redmond's Fingernails

    The woman who held the world record for "World's Longest Fingernails" lost them in a car crash this week outside Salt Lake City, Utah!

    She had been growing her nails since 1979, so although her injuries aren't life threatening I'd consider them pretty damn serious. At its peak, her longest thumb nail measured 2ft 11in.
