Man Arrested For Masturbating In A Library While Holding A Cucumber In His Spare Hand

And it wasn't his first time.

Frederick Tennyson Davis, 49, from Toronto, has been arrested after he was allegedly caught committing an "indecent act" in a library.

Toronto Police Service said officers were called to Agincourt library in Scarborough at 11am on Saturday 31 May.

Upon arriving they discovered a man sitting in the library with a cucumber.

Staff reportedly recognised him for an incident the month before.

On 7 April it is alleged Davis sat next to a 26-year-old woman studying in the library and after opening his laptop began to “commit an indecent act while holding a cucumber”.

"He was not using the cucumber [to masturbate] as far as I'm aware. It was held in his other hand,” Constable David Hopkinson said.

On Wednesday, police confirmed Davis had been charged with indecent assault and two counts of failing to comply with probation.

When asked if Davis had appeared a threat to library staff, Constable Hopkinson replied: "I don't think he had any free hands to make any threat.”

Davis was charged with an indecent act for a similar incident at a library in Markham in Ontario in June 2012.

At the time he was handed a suspended sentence and 12 months probation.
