This weekend was the 825th anniversary of the Hamburg port and to mark the occasion in style a cruise ship laid on a pretty great surprise.

The MSC Magnifica, a 964ft-long ship capable of carrying over 3,600 passengers, entertained the crowds with a wonderful rendition of The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army.

Billed "the greatest harbour festival in the world", thousands of people take part in the Hamburg Port Birthday celebrations every year.
