So on Sunday, Telegraph features writer Harry Wallop asked Cadbury if the rumours he'd heard about the company no longer making chocolate coins were true.
And on Monday afternoon the confectionery firm finally responded with some devastating news...
Wow indeed.
A short while later Wallop provided an update, saying Cadbury had told him the coins had been discontinued because they were "quite fiddly to produce".
And immediately everyone was seriously upset.
