How could you not love this TODAY show story about a gorgeous - but sick - little girl and her oxygen-carrying service dog, Mr. Gibbs? MUST WATCH - a warm fuzzy for a beginning-of-spring day.
As someone who lives near and works in 305-315 East 86th St. at Second Ave. (construction directly to South and West of the building) EVERY DAY, I am incensed. I've had the "Second Avenue Subway Cough" and post-nasal drip all winter and called 311 to complain more than a month ago. I have yet to hear back, although I was told that my complaint would be forwarded to the EPA.
They say that ground level is safe? I think not - people are being injured by air and noise pollution with each passing day. If you live or work in the area, call #311, Mayor Bloomberg's office, State Senator Liz Krueger, Assemblyman Micah Kellner and City Councilwoman Jessica Lappin to express your concerns. We can only affect change if we band together!

If you're a DH watcher and don't want to know who's going to get killed off Sunday, stop reading here. In testifying as part of Nicolette Sheridan's lawsuit, DH Producer George Perkins revealed that a certain plumber will meet his demise on this Sunday's episode, prompting gasps from the courtroom. Thanks, George, for that spoiler!
