David Bowie and Tilda Swinton appear together in the video for “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” as a married couple whose lives are upended by a celebrity couple portrayed by Andrej Pejic and Saskia De Brauw. The short film was directed by Floria Sigismondi, who has previously worked with The White Stripes, Björk, Fiona Apple, Katy Perry, and Marilyn Manson, and was shot by Jeff Cronenweth. “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” will appear on The Next Day, Bowie’s first album in a decade.
