“My cousin, Harvey, randomly ran into Michael Cera at a London coffeeshoppe. Cera and Harvey hit it off and ended up having a 2 hour conversation over lunch. Cera wrote a list of stuff Harvey should see.” Wes Anderson! The Big Lebowski! This is pretty much what I would envision to be the must-see list for every character Cera's ever played.
i would bang the shit outta Micheal Cera…my hubby said i could. he's my “celebrity crush you're allowed to cheat on your spouse with” my husbands is George Clooney LOL
I would expect Michael Cera to have a more lowbrow taste in film.
amazon.com?
damn advertising under disguise
This raises the question of why Wes Anderson hasn't yet cast Michael Cera in any of his films. It seems obvious.
The King of Comedy is a fantastic and criminally underrated film, which makes me like Michael Cera now.
Could not agree more about Look Around you -Hilarious
Psst.. generally.. people are NOT their movie characters.
Barring the fact that we dont know what the conversation was about, or the fact that this is real or not, I am judging solely on the list itself. Props for most of the list. Big ones to the Kurosawa film, although I liked Yojimbo the most. But Toy Story 3? really? Thats where I know the list went wrong. Atleast, it didnt have MICHEAL GOUNDRY scrawled all over the page in Napolean Dynamite style hearts.
Larry Sanders was a really good sitcom, but Cera's own Arrested Development is the best sitcom ever not named The Simpsons…. However, Cera really needs to stop playing the same character over and over. It was funny on AD and in Superbad, but now it's time to pull an Elijah-Wood-in-Sin-City. And no, your slightly-mustachioed Youth In Revolt alter-ego doesn't count. You need to get a body count going.
Boogie Nights? Seriously?
Thanks Michael. I'll be checking out “Look Around You”
he should be telling people to go see his own movie, because it unfortunately didn't do so well at the box office
eh.
