In Montreal, people drink from carton mostly. This person doesn't know what she talking about.

Being 47 years old. I have seen these around since I was a child. Nothing new. I would never go back to the reusable jugs ever.

This is not a Canadian thing. It depends on the diary. I have seen this in Wisconsin too. Basically this is a 70's concept that died a swift death and only a few communities still consume milk like this.

wtf I've never seen or herd of this, I live in Warman which is near Saskatoon
and we drink it out of jugs (probly cause we drink so much a carton is to small).

And in case anyone has the idea that's the only way we get milk, that's not the case. Cartons are available in various sizes (up to 2L) and also plastic jugs.

I think it's more of an Ontario thing because here in Halifax, we drink milk in the carton

Not sure what the big deal is here, but then I've used them all my life. As for the Canadian's who've never heard of this, it's very much a regional thing.

Cause I could swear I was born in Canada, and have lived here my entire life, and have NEVER EVEN SEEN A BAG OF MILK.

I'm in Newfoundland and I haven't seen or heard of anyone around using bagged milk since I was a kid. I think a lot of people moved on to cartons.

Make sure you rinse oot your milk bag.

I'm 24 and I've lived in California my whole life and we used to drink milk bags in elementary school and they still have them…it's not weird at all.

When I was a kid I used to put milk in ziplock bags so I could go play without bringing a cup. Same?
