hannahg13 2 months agoWell, i’ll go against the grain here, but I love pretty much all of them. If I was getting married I would definitely chose one in a similar style to these. My sister is getting married soon and she’s put me in a dress that looks similar to these ones. It’s perfect for a vintage style wedding, and not the usual horrible, plain & boring bridesmaid dresses that everyone seems to love. Great article.

jessicas97 4 months agoOr, if they’re REALLY your friends, pick out a universally flattering and easy-to-find color palette and let them choose their own dresses. That way they’re guaranteed to find something that fits their body shape and budget and that they’ll want to wear again.

mekki 4 months agoHere’s the ideal bridesmaid dress to flatter almost anyone;
1. Knee length
2. Cotton (or at the very least, machine washable)
3. Sleeves or a cover-up (Not everyone likes their arms and we want to be able to wear a bra, too.)
4. PAID BY THE BRIDE! (Seriously, I don’t know why it’s consider acceptable to make someone spend hundreds of dollars for a dress they don’t want, need or will wear again because you invited them to be a bride’s maid. If you ask someone to be your bride’s maid, you should pay for the dress.) -

andread14 4 months agoSome of these are way too edgy, way too revealing, too shapeless and way too expensive. Also, some of these are not flattering on a range of body types at all. For the average person $500 is way too much money to spend on a dress when you factor in travel, lodging, meals and other wedding related expenses.

mxdxh 4 months agoi agree with some of the other comments, when youre looking for a bridesmaid dress, you want something thats flattering on all the different body types. i know even i wouldnt look good in some of these.
and the ones that might be appealing on all body types look too casual for a wedding. -

rayew 4 months agosure…a couple of these are pretty….but what if your bridesmaids aren’t photoshopped stick figures..what if you Actually Want real people in your wedding party??? I can’t imagine my bridesmaid being able to wear well ANY of these!! Just once I would like to see something from the “fashion” industry show us something that can be worn Off the runway!!!
