Ryu From "Street Fighter II" Has Just Turned 50 And Now We Feel Old

The star of Capcom's 1991 fighting classic has just reached the big five-oh, according to his date of birth in the game.

Remember in Street Fighter II when it listed all the characters' height, weight and age? Well, according to those stats, Ryu has just turned 50.

Yes, that's right. When the game came out in 1991, revolutionising the fighting genre in the process, Ryu's age was given as being 27. But that was 23 years ago.
