I've lived in both places, and the racism was far worse in the UK, which was surprising, as in the US I lived in Texas. And the cuisine? Seriously? The UK is definitely underrated, but the diversity of the, especially Asian, food is overrated like crazy. It's pretty bad, and the Spanish and Japanese have the best cooks, any Northern Europeans/Americans would lose against them. Your negative points I don't agree with at all, that's only true for London, and that's what makes London such a great city! You're constantly surrounded by so many people, and the traffic jams and all that just add to the cosmopolitan feel of it. If you don't like it, move to ANY other city in the UK, none are that crowded, and none, not even London, come close to New York.
