What you need to do is buy from companies that pay fair wages. If suppliers feel pressure to pay their workers a decent wage, they will do so. The issue however, is that they feel a need to cut costs because people aren't willing to pay money for decent wages.
It's upsetting that Buzzfeed has posted three or four articles about whiny westerners not being satisfied with the quality of $20 dresses. How about showing people how much labor goes into making these clothes. People are living and working in terrible conditions because westerners…Â
