The Punisher to Be Made Into a TV Show

Variety.com has reported some interesting bits of information about upcoming TV series based on Marvel properties. First up, they report that ABC have sold The Punisher to Fox. Based on the Marvel comic the hour-long procedural drama comes from executive producer Ed Bernero (himself an ex-Chicago cop). They write: "Fox's smallscreen version of Punisher will focus on NYPD detective Frank Castle, whose alter ego is that of a vigilante seeking justice for those failed by the court system."
