I made my wedding arch out of willow branch. We took thin branches, bundled it in two long pieces about 9 feet long. And a third bundle about 6 feet long. Attached the small bundle to the top of the long pieces. And then just took thin short pieces and started giving it shape and twists, and whatnot. I had my brother make me two big metal rods attached to a base that when put in the bottom on the arch, it stood on its own. It was super easy to make and free, but we had an abundance of willow in our field and a brother that can weld and had the tools for my base. The final product was then adorned with flowers and crystals. And my seating chart we used an old glass door that had 8 panes and I wrote the guests name on the glass. The door was free since my brother found it at his buddies and he wasn’t using it.
