Trying To Guess The Plot Of "Friends" Episodes From A Single GIF

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then I should be able to guess the plot of these episodes.

Here is everything I know about the TV show Friends, which may or may not be true:

- Chandler is some sort of boss. He's in love with Monica.

- Joey is a struggling actor, who eventually lands on a soap opera. He loves food.

- Ross is a paleontologist and/or loves dinosaurs. He had a pet/friend monkey. He is Monica's brother and dates Rachel.

- Rachel has some type of creative job. She had a fling with an intern. She dates Ross.

- Monica is neat/a control freak who makes delicious candy. She is Ross' sister and is in love with Chandler.

- Phoebe is a free spirit and freelance guitarist. She only recently learned how to ride a bicycle.

- The three men live together and the three women live together across the hall in a New York apartment. Actually, no. Someone recently told me Phoebe does not live there. So Phoebe is homeless. The group likes to meet and gossip at the Central Perk coffee shop.

OK, let's begin.

Roommate Game Night

What I think it's about:

The group splits up into boys versus girls to see who can invent the better game.

The girls have a very thought-out game, but argue over whether or not they should have a blue playing card because "blue is supporting the boys!" They finally decide to make all the cards blue as a move of intimidation.

The boys, on the other hand, start discussing all of the games they used to enjoy playing when they were younger, coming upon the conclusion that no other game can ever be better than Truth or Dare, so they invent Dare or Truth, leading to Chandler exclaiming "This is the best game ever!!"

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One With the Baby Shower" (Season 8, Episode 20)

Joey convinces Ross and Chandler to practice playing a game called Bamboozled, a game show he's auditioning for. At first they make fun of him, but they all end up loving it. The girls aren't creating their own game — they're across the hall at Rachel's baby shower.

Never a Bride

What I think it's about:

The girls decide to be brides for a day after going to their umpteenth wedding as bridesmaids.

While at the reception of their friend's wedding, Rachel pitches the idea to a depressed Monica, who is complaining about Chandler's lack of proposal. Monica's initially not into it, so Rachel asks Phoebe to join in, causing Phoebe to mutter her catchphrase "Umm...OK."

However, the three friends soon realize that it's not much fun being a bride without a wedding to go to.

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One With All the Wedding Dresses" (Season 4, Episode 20)

Since Emily, Ross's fiancée, is in London and can't pick up her own wedding dress, Monica helps her out. But instead of just taking the dress from the store, she tries it on herself. By the end of the episode, Phoebe comes over to the apartment wearing a wedding dress, and Rachel tries one on as well to cope with her break up from Joshua.

We Are Family

What I think it's about:

Monica and Ross accidentally have a great night out together after getting ditched by their dates.

Thirty minutes before they're supposed to go to the club Monica's been dying to go to for weeks, Chandler calls and cancels plans because he has to work late. Refusing to let that stop her (and because she already bought an outfit and got ready), Monica decides to go to the club alone.

Meanwhile, Ross goes on a date with a friend's friend, but freaks out after seeing his high school girlfriend at the restaurant. The date leaves and a bummed-out Ross is convinced to go to the club with Monica, where they eventually bust out their childhood choreographed dance.

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One With The Routine" (Season 6 Episode 10)

Janine, Joey's roommate and crush, invites him, Ross, and Monica along to the taping of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. This is where Ross and Monica re-create their embarrassing dance routine from eighth grade, which they actually think is awesome.

Holidillo

What I think it's about:

Ross creates the holiday armadillo after a mall Santa visit goes awry.

While at the mall, Ross mentions how ridiculous it is to bring your child to the mall to visit Santa, finding it "offensive to anyone with a brain." Filled with boredom, Ross confronts the head of the mall, who propositions Ross to come up with an idea that's "less offensive than jolly Saint Nick." His solution: the holiday armadillo.

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One With the Holiday Armadillo" (Season 7, Episode 10)

Ross tries to teach his son, Ben, about his Jewish heritage during the holiday season because he knows a lot about Christmas traditions and doesn't show much interest in Hanukkah. Since Ross waited so long to get a Santa costume, they were all sold out and he was stuck with an armadillo costume instead.

I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here

What I think it's about:

The roommates argue over who gets the big room in their apartment.

Joey, Chandler, and Ross are moving in to their new apartment, but Chandler and Ross get into a fight over who gets the big room with the bathroom. In an act of defiance, Chandler announces that he will not unpack a single possession, only to be immediately copied by Ross who is "also not unpacking."

In the midst of all the arguing and nonconvincing rebuttals, Joey suggests that the room is big enough for the both of them, "so why don't you be a grown up and come and watch some TV in the fort!"

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One Where Ross Moves In" (Season 5, Episode 7)

Ross is kicked out of his apartment since his ex-wife's (Emily) cousin is the landlord, so he temporarily moves in with Chandler and Joey while looking for a new place. Even though the roommates find him pretty annoying, they have fun throughout the episode by building a fort together in their living room.

Rainy Day

What I think it's about:

The gang gets creative after their weekend plans are spoiled by rain.

With Ross and Rachel out of town, Joey, Chandler, Monica, and Phoebe make plans to go to the beach, but a surprise rainstorm keeps them indoors. Confused by this new dynamic, the four friends struggle to find something to do together as a group.

After Joey convinces them that "being in the same room will bring everyone closer," they all move to Phoebe's bed and help Monica wax her legs, while the boys decide to taste the wax because of boredom and manhood.

Apparently what it's actually about:

"The One With the Morning After" (Season 3, Episode 16)

Ross and Rachel break up in the middle of Rachel and Monica's living room, and it takes them all night. The rest of the gang gets stuck in Monica's bedroom because they don't want Ross and Rachel to know they're there, which is when they decide to experiment with Waxine out of extreme boredom and hunger.

It's All Over Now

What I think it's about:

In the last episode, we find out that the whole show was in Ross' head.

While over at his sister's apartment, Ross is bombarded by a piggyback ride from Rachel, which knocks him unconscious. Turns out the entire series was a dream of his, manifested by his infatuation with Rachel, which he has kept quiet for years.

Why do I say that? Because there is NO WAY boring-ass Ross could get with fine-ass Rachel. And y'all know that's the truth.

Apparently what it's actually about:

Don't care. I'm right.
