I’d like to see the sources quoted, because just saying “she/he is registered” when they actually never said such a thing seems weird to me. Ok, some of them donated to, campaigned with etc., but what is the explanation for the others? Because it looks like “i have a friend of a friend who told another friend that maybe he thought” they are republicans/democrats/gay/whatever.

I just love how liberals enjoy calling people that don’t agree with them names etc: racist, bigot, homophob, moron, or worse. This used to be a free country where everyone had the right to speak freely and have their own opinions. We had the right to agree to disagree. Liberals think that right only applies to them. In their mind Republicans, Conservatives,Christians and anyone else that disagrees with them should not allowed or tolerated. Yet, they are the one’s that want to require everyone to be tolerant… What a joke.

When I hear of anyone who is a Republican I immediately consider that this person supports the following:  1) Doesn’t believe in gay rights
2) Doesn’t give a shit about the environment
3) Is more concerned with the well being of the rich
4) Doen’t believe in a social safety net for the unfortunate
5) Is voting for a party controlled by Christian religious nuts
6) Is voting for a party that stood against the civil rights of blacks during the 50s and 60s
7) Believes all manner of weapons should be freely available
8) Is so concerned with the well being of a few cells that he or she will oppose stem cell research that can help millions of people
9) and the dirty list goes on…

How many of these celebrities are “Obama Republicans?” Do the political opinions of Meat Loaf & 50 Cent really count? I’ve been a Republican all of my adult life, beginning with volunteering in the Goldwater campaign… that does not mean I’d vote for this stiff Mittens or the deranged bigots of the illiterate TeaParty.

Great to see people who aren’t scared to death to not follow the liberal/democrat/socialist way of Hollyweird.

Meh, these lists are always kind of tricky. People get lumped into one group or another when they might not technically be whole hog for the ideals of that party. I bet a number of people on both lists would beg to differ at one time or another. That being said, there sure a lot of well known pricks and bitches in the list of republicans Of course Robert Duvall could come out as a Santanist and I would still think he’s great.

Funny how most of these people have either been divorced at least once, been to jail at least once, had a face-lift at least once, filed for bankruptcy at least once, or all of the above.

There are only two aspects of Hollywood that aren’t totally revolting: 1) it’s liberal 2) it makes some pretty awesome movies. The fact that most celebrities lean left and that many of them are progressive activists are some of the only redeeming characteristics that they possess.  Being conservative is one of the most common ways that stars make me loose whatever respect I had for them - although “being a Scientologist” is obviously still number one by a long shot.
