Half-assed bedtime stories.

When your parents scream your name at the top of their lungs.

Forgetting which feet your shoes are supposed to go on.

When you ask your parents if you can sleep with them and they tell you to sleep in your own room.

When your parents tell you, "Five more minutes!" and then say time's up a minute later.

When you try to hang with the older kids but they totally shut you out.
