21 Things Disney-Obsessed Parents Definitely Do

    Disney... It's a lifelong thing.

    1. You can't stop yourself from quoting Disney movies to your kids.

    2. You seriously considered naming your kid “Ariel," "Belle” or even "Mickey."

    3. The presents you were given at your baby shower DEFINITELY shared a theme.

    4. You've surprised your kids with a trip to Disneyland and been a little disappointed when they weren't quite as excited as you were.

    5. When you meet characters you get every bit as excited as your kids.

    6. You definitely got your kids monogrammed Mickey ears before they could even wear them.

    7. You can keep going at Disneyland a lot longer than your kids can, too.

    8. You’ve brought your kid to the Disney Store bright and early so they could witness the opening ceremony.

    9. You've worked your way through the Disney songbook when singing your kids to bed at night.

    10. Truth be told, you don't just sing Disney songs at bedtime. You sing them... A LOT.

    11. Now that you're a parent yourself you find Disney's tendency to kill off the parents in their movies a little more troubling than you used to.

    12. But you let it go because the parents in Disney movies are generally really sweet. You know, when they're not dead.

    13. At Halloween you do everything you can to nudge your kids toward Disney-rific costume choices.

    14. When other parents bitch about Disney and how much they hate it you immediately put them on “the list.”

    15. But when you meet another parent who loves Disney as much as you do the conversation can get a little giddy.

    16. You take your family to see the latest Disney movies the minute they come out. You know, for the kids.

    17. When you find cool Disney related stuff on the Internet — like this incredible Ariel latte — you get more than a little pumped up.

    18. Sometimes your kid says something horrible — like that they think Minions is the best animated movie of all time — and it is everything you can do not to lose it.

    19. You sometimes look up hotel and flight costs even when there’s no way you could possibly take your family at the moment.

    20. As much as you love going to Disney with your family, you also can’t help but fantasize about making a solo trip.

    21. In the end, though, there's nothing you love more than enjoying the magic with the ones you love most.
