It begins with rather foreboding voiceover from Magneto, played by the handsome Michael Fassbender, speaking to Professor X...

...and the professor, played by James McAvoy, is basically like, "BRING IT ON."

Fun fact: Xavier's line is a throwback to the very first X-Men movie, which came out in 2000.

We see the devastatingly handsome Oscar Isaac, who plays the main villain, Apocalypse.

There's also a brief moment when you see how Apocalypse is transformed from an attractive man to low-key omnicidal maniac.

There are glimpses of new characters, like Angel and Psylocke...

...and we see familiar faces, like Storm wielding her badass power...

...and Cyclops, too, slaying with those dazzling beams of energy from his eyes.

    Doesn't it look absolutely sublime?

The film, fellow mutants, opens in theaters on May 27.
