G8(20) summits are big nothings with or without this boring sideshow. A bunch of wind bag world leaders get together to make empty promises such as somehow fixing global poverty—not by rooting out corrupt and kleptocratic governments and supporting personal and economic liberty—but to transfer billions of our money into the pockets of the thugs creating all the problems in the first place. And they are just like the U.N., World Bank, and other centralized, soviet-styled arm-chair development planners: a shell game from start to finish not to solve problems but to make people think you are solving problems so the money keeps flowing and you keep taking hefty overhead/Admin. fees. I say let this ridiculous coverage continue—it illustrates how this is all one big nothing.
Does anyone care about how the actual G8 summit went? Nope, because Obama isn't allowed to move his head in certain ways. LOVE that this is getting so much coverage.

It's sad that the media cares more about a president checking out a woman instead of a president caring more about enriching his buddies in the oil industry and Wall Steet.
Do we really care to play photographic gotcha when men harmlessly behave like vital men? Are we still such repressed puritans in this country that we care about any of this? The actual Puritans that founded our nation were not as bad about this as we have become. Two words, Benjamin Franklin. We have debased puritanism to be all about superficial issues like this when it was really about ethics in the conduct of one's life which, as evidenced by the professional behavior of our business and political leaders, has become a complete non-issue. We impeach Clinton for lying about a blow job and tolerate GW Bush for lying us into war and gutting our liberty. The financial barons of our country plunge the world into ruin through massive fraud and they still walk free with their fortunes intact.
