Guy Sebastian will be Australia's representative at this year's historic appearance at Eurovision, SBS announced.
The former Australian Idol winner was unveiled at a special event on Thursday.

Eurovision announced earlier this year that Australia would be included in the contest which is usually only open to European nations.
While Sebastian's music credentials are impressive, some asked whether he needed the platform.
#GuySebastian has already competed in World Idol, has eight top ten albums including two number ones. Interesting choice for #Eurovision.
