Those weren’t bacteria you were looking at. Those were a species of mites. The pictures showed bunches of them around the follicles of eyebrow (probably eyebrows, maybe body or head) hair. Bacteria are much smaller than mites. So yes you can continue imagining bacteria as armless and legless. But don’t let this stop you from being disgusted over millions of little bugs on your face sucking up your sweat.
