I know. However, letting them out of their cages would be one of the most dangerous things to do. The CFS volunteers would then have to contend with possibly aggressive and frightened animals as well as risking their lives to protect homes and lives. Horrible situation and my heart…Â
The article is misleading. The owner is a CFS volunteer and had left to help defend other homes from the fire. The conditions had changed and the fire moved swiftly, preventing them from returning to save the animals, and there were many road closures. They left their home to help…Â
