J.K. Rowling Is The Only Wimbledon Commentator You Ever Need

The queen of Quidditch has a lot to say about tennis too.

At the outset of the women's Wimbledon final, in which Serena Williams beat Garbine Muguruza to victory, Queen of the Wold J.K. Rowling declared herself #TeamSerena.

I'm #TeamSerena today, because you don't meet many super-talented people nicer than she is. Go @serenawilliams!

She was so into the match, it all got a bit When Harry Met Sally.

She still had plenty of love for Muguruza, mind.

Muguruza is unbelievable. 21 years old! #Wimbledon2015

But then it was back to the Serena excitement.

I just yelled like I got hit by that ball. #Wimbledon2015

She declared that history was made.

Tennis history is made! #QueenOfCentreCourt @serenawilliams

And quite rightly highlighted what a wonderful role-model Serena Williams is.

#SerenaSlam! I love her. What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!

Even a post-Harry Potter novel is no match for Serena's A-game.

The match is still technically going on, right? Because otherwise I've got to go back to copy edits.

But best of all, when some troll said Serena looked like a man, J.K. Rowling put him right in his place.

.@diegtristan8 "she is built like a man". Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You're an idiot.

    Slay, Serena; slay, J.K. 💅
