Here's The Nicki Minaj–Taylor Swift Twitter Feud Retold In Emojis

    By now we've all heard about the Nicki Minaj/Taylor Swift Twitter feud, but it's all gotten very confusing and complicated. So Jimmy Kimmel broke it down for us.

    OK, so it all started when Nicki Minaj didn't get nominated for an MTV Video of the Year award for "Anaconda." So she went to Twitter to vent her frustrations.

    Taylor Swift, however, was nominated for a Video of the Year award for "Bad Blood," so when Nicki tweeted, "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year..."

    ...Taylor assumed the tweet was about her video...

    ...and responded to Nicki that it was "unlike [her] to pit women against each other."

    So Nicki was essentially like, "Ummm, no that tweet wasn't about you specifically, this is about a bigger problem."

    And Taylor was like, "If I win, come onstage with me," and Nicki was like, "Ummmm."

    Then Katy Perry, who's rumored to be the person Taylor wrote "Bad Blood" about, jumped in.

    She tweeted that she found it "ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman..."

    Then yesterday morning, Taylor tweeted an apology to Nicki.

    And Nicki accepted.

    And all's well now.

    Except that somewhere in there, Jimmy's 14-year-old niece, Allison, exploded.
