What a blessed day we had yesterday. First, we were given our first look at Alexander Skarsgård as Tarzan, and it was good. AND THEN, in the SAME DAY, we were gifted with the first trailer. And it is gooooood.
The Legend of Tarzan looks much darker than past adaptations. Tarzan's already come and gone from the jungle, and he's called back to his former home from the comfort of London.
It looks like he's taken to civilized life quite nicely.
But he has to go back to the jungle to investigate a mining encampment. Also, the wicked Captain Rom (Christoph Waltz) seems to be holding Jane (Margot Robbie) captive.
And it looks like Tarzan will have to revisit his wild roots.
