By the end of the week, it's time to catch up on all the things you may have been putting off: especially emails, because this month you're blessed with superior communication. Check in with business connections you may have neglected. There is a lot of hard work ahead for you at the end of the month, so now's the time to prepare.

Focused

With the new moon falling in your house of income once Mercury goes retrograde on the 18th, you're perfectly poised to ask for a raise. (And maybe even a promotion.) The best time to do this is in the few days following May 21. Be sensible with your request, and listen carefully to the response — if you can't grow with the company you're in, it may be time to find a new one.

Ambitious

With Mercury going retrograde in your second house of productivity, you may be feeling overwhelmed by the tasks you've taken on. Look around you — are there ways to make your job more streamlined? Is there anything you can delegate to someone else? Talk to your teammates, work hard, and be conservative with your spending. This is a week to be cautious.

Prioritizing

You may well be offered a new job (or a new job duty) this week, Gemini, but put off the decision-making if you can — it's never a good idea to accept a new job while Mercury is in retrograde, which it will be until June 11. In the meantime, finish old projects that need finishing, and attend to your physical workspace: it's a great time for a spring cleaning.

Developing

You've been under a lot of pressure recently, Cancer, and now's the time to take care of yourself and your surroundings so you can move forward: clean up your workspace and, if you can, spruce it up with a nice plant. It's not time to start a new job yet, but it's a good time to think about whether you'd like to.

Cleansing

You may have recently seen increased attention, a raise, or a promotion, with Mars in your house of professional achievement until this past week. This week, Taurus arrives in the same house, bringing with him some exciting new job opportunities — perhaps with another company who recognized your talent. This could be a big, great opportunity for you, Leo; take your time to think about it.

With Mercury in retrograde over the next three weeks, now is an ideal time to think about your work situation, and how to make it better. You're running on a short fuse this week, Libra, so take a little break here and there to keep it under control. Take a walk at lunch or go for a jog — these things will help you keep your mouth under control.

Fiery

With Saturn moving into your money house this month, you may be feeling a bit strapped for cash — you could see unwelcome delays, like a late paycheck or an overdraft with your bank. It's a great time to look for a side hustle to add to your normal income — maybe you've been thinking about selling crafts, or getting a part-time job, or selling some old clothes. Do it this week.

Hustling

The new moon in Taurus will bring you lots of new work over the next 10 days, but you can handle it. The projects you work on this week will go far toward your future recognition, so it's important to take the time for them. By Friday, you'll be exhausted: make sure you have something relaxing and fun planned for the weekend.

Productive

This week, aided by the sun and Mars, you'll be blessed with some much-needed motivation. Your work ethic is showing, so it's a good time to reach out to prospective new employers. Any new job offer this month would be a lateral move, but it might be a better work environment for you, so be open-minded.
