Here's Your First Look At Pixar's "The Good Dinosaur"

    Hold onto your dino butts.

Yahoo premiered Pixar's first teaser trailer for The Good Dinosaur, which tickles a curious question:

What if that asteroid that killed all of our fossilized friends...

    ...missed the planet entirely?

When Disney first premiered footage at its D23 Expo in 2013, it revealed the big names attached to the project.

The starring role of Arlo, an apatosaurus, will be voiced by Raising Hope’s Lucas Neff, who has a little human buddy named Spot.

Arlo gets separated from his family, and while making his way back to them, he encounters Spot. Director Pete Sohn told Yahoo, "I’m trying to treat Spot in a very kind of animalistic way, where he doesn’t speak very much. He’s very feral.”

John Lithgow and Frances McDormand play Arlo's parental units.

And Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris, and Bill Hader voice his siblings.

The movie happens sometime after the asteroid misses, so the studio admits to being a bit liberal with its historical timeline.

But on behalf of our eternal dinosaur love, we don't mind.

The Good Dinosaur premieres on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
