26 Confessions Of A Food-Loving Serial Dieter

    Tomorrow. I swear.

    1. You know all about and have tried most diets that exist on the face of planet Earth.

    2. You knew you found heaven when you discovered the #Fitspo side of the internet.

    3. You knew about Zumba, Insanity and the likes much, much before they got popular.

    4. You have subscribed to and love watching all the popular fitness and motivation channels on YouTube.

    5. In your mind, you already know what you're going to say in your "How I Lost My Weight" YouTube video.

    6. Truth be told, you like watching them much better than actually following their advice.

    7. You have consulted with nutritionists and ended up telling them the unfortunate nutritional flaws in their diet plans.

    8. Your friends and family reach out to you for diet advice and you help them out wholeheartedly.

    9. But you're so addicted to trying new diets that you never really stick to a particular one yourself.

    10. All your diets start on Mondays and end by Thursdays.

    11. You also have more "cheat days" than days of actually following the diet.

    12. When you've been on a diet for a few days, you literally start having dreams of food that you'd rather be eating.

    13. You can't even tell which diet caused it when your body starts behaving, because you tried 4 things in one week.

    14. You've said you'll eat your favourite junk food for the last time, hundreds of times.

    15. You're a pro at self motivation... so you convince yourself with elaborate excuses to "start tomorrow."

    16. You fluctuate day to day between loving your body and wanting to change several things about it.

    17. You also change your mind every day about whether you "eat to live" or "live to eat."

    18. Your shopping sprees entail buying a mix of clothes that will fit your current size, and others that are supposed to motivate you to fit in, at your goal weight.

    19. Which has resulted in you literally having no clothes to wear because they're all different sizes.

    20. People you meet after a sufficient time gap get confused looking at you because you're a different size every. Single. Time.

    21. Your friends lose their patience with you a lot because of having to make plans according to your ever changing dietary needs.

    22. But again, you use the outing as an excuse to eat whatever they're eating one last time.

    23. You actually like going to the gym and working out but lack of consistency is your nemesis.

    24. Every day is a new day to start working on your health resolutions, so January 1 is just a date to you.

    25. Though you aren’t quite there yet, you know there will come a day when you'll have the body you desire.

    26. Even if that means learning to desire the perfect body you have already.
