These Girls Did The "36 Questions" Experiment On Tinder And The Results Were Amazing

These questions are admittedly easier to ask via text.

By now, you've probably seen this headline quite a few times.

And you've probably read a few of the spin-offs.

But Nikki Wiart and three of her friends decided to test Dr. Aron's famous study on a new crowd: the guys on Tinder.

The project was simple: The girls would text one of the questions to a different guy and document what happened.

"There were four of us. Myself and my friends Kayla, Lisa, and Jess," Wiart told BuzzFeed. "I had read the New York Times article and passed it along to all of my single friends, being like 'Oh my god guys! This is how we find love!'"

Some of the responses were the gross, stereotypically Tinder ones you'd expect.

But many actually ended up being thoughtful and creating an openness in the conversation.

So if you've been itching to try this experiment in some form, Tinder might just be the way to go!
