To speak of an entire group of people like this doesn’t make sense to me. It seems too specific; I do know of plenty PEOPLE (both girls and guys) who consider themselves part of the “geek culture,” even though in reality they do not belong to it (does it even exist anymore?). In theory, this is a harmless act, but on a more basic scale it creates people who are frustratingly fake. Not that it matters, they are easily ignored.
MY FEELS
Do we really expect commercials these days to reach ABSOLUTELY EVERY demographic possible? I’m a dude and, yeah, the dad isn’t incredibly helpful in the commercial, but I didn’t take it PERSONALLY.
